The Mares X-Tream freediving mask is a diving mask with a hydrodynamic profile, a very small internal volume and a very large field of vision. A raised part on the nose ensures a better grip of the nose clip. The lenses are made of anti-reflective tempered glass. The mask has an attractive design and is very lightweight. The inner surface has a special soft-touch/anti-reflective treatment. The face piece is ergonomic and has high hydrodynamics. Pressure equalisation of the mask with the Mares X-Tream mask is simplified. The length of the mask strap can be easily adjusted. The lenses are positioned closer to the eyes to minimise internal volume and ensure a wide field of vision. The key features of the Mares X-Tream apnea mask are an anatomically shaped mask body, minimal distance between the lens and the eyes, minimal internal volume, wide field of vision, anti-reflective properties, hydrodynamic profile for less water resistance, non-slip embossing on the nose cone for wearing with a nose clip (Octopus Fakir) and innovative silicone in the mask body that reduces fogging.

How do I prevent the mask from fogging up?
There are a few tricks you can try to prevent your mask from fogging up. Here are some tips that may help you:
- Clean the new mask a few times in the dishwasher to remove the release agent residue before diving in for the first time.
- Apply an anti-fogging agent to the dry glasses and rub it in before getting into the water.
- Swivel the mask briefly in the water without touching the lenses. A film of the anti-fog agent should remain on the lenses.
- If the mask still fogs up, let some water run into the mask, hold your face down so that the water spreads over the lenses and blow out the mask or drain the water.
- If the mask still fogs up, you can spit on the inside of the glasses and rub it in.
- If the mask still fogs up, stay calm, don't get stressed, relax and enjoy the dive anyway.
I hope these tips will help you to prevent your mask from fogging up. Have fun diving! 🤿
