Easy upgrade: Mount the Mares X-WING C-EVO Carbon Fin Blade to your Mares X-Wing Short fin foot pockets and feel the carbon power.
The Mares X-WING C-EVO carbon blade allows you to take your Mares X-Wing Short fins to the next level. Originally equipped with plastic blades, you can easily upgrade them after a while with this high-quality carbon blade, letting you enjoy the benefits of a true carbon fin – without having to invest in a completely new set right away.
The X-WING C-EVO carbon blade is specially designed for freedivers and spearfishers looking for more efficiency, responsiveness, and a lighter feel while diving. Made from high-quality T700 carbon fiber, it is particularly durable and resistant, minimizing the risk of breakage and wear. The unidirectional carbon fiber weave reduces lateral movements and maximizes energy transfer with every kick.
With a 30° angle, the blade perfectly aligns with your leg's natural movement, generating optimal thrust even during deep dives. Its hydrodynamic shape reduces drag and increases propulsion with every stroke.
The best part: thanks to a simple mounting system, you can easily attach the carbon blade to the foot pockets of your Mares X-Wing Short fins – and in no time, you'll be enjoying the incredible diving experience of carbon fins. If you're unsure about the installation (though it’s really simple), feel free to visit me in Felben-Wellhausen for a coffee while I mount the Mares X-WING C-EVO carbon blade for you.
Main features:
With the Mares X-WING C-EVO carbon blade, you'll experience a new level of diving – more performance, more precision, and more comfort!
My tip: The blade is available in “Soft” and “Medium” hardness. For 80% of divers, the soft blade is the best choice. Just like cycling, when you ride in a lower gear, you experience less muscle strain, fewer cramps, and require less oxygen. Larger, muscular athletes will achieve better performance with the medium stiffness.
