    Wrap the connecting rope between you and your buoy around the Line Holder reel. Secure the reel close to your buoy and only unwind enough rope so that the buoy is close to you but you can descend to the desired depth without resistance.

    To secure the rope, make two "crochet stitches" at one end of the reel and the rope will not unwind any further.
