Swivel Connector

You need the Swivel Connector to easily remove the spear from your weapon and to prevent your line from twisting. The Swivel Connector is made of brass and stainless steel and is available in two versions.

Whether you prefer the pigtail, where a loop is twisted through a corkscrew, or the snap clip is a matter of personal preference. I find the snap clips easier to use, but there's no accounting for taste.

My tip: You can use the Swivel Connector not only to attach your spear, but for all connections on your equipment, such as the buoy line. If you notice that a line is tangled or there is a knot in the line while spearfishing, you can simply loosen the connection, fix the problem and be ready to continue shortly afterwards.
