The 2bfree Safety Lanyard Stopper sets new standards in freediving safety. Made of polyacetal, this stopper is designed to prevent the carabiner of the lanyard from getting stuck, ensuring maximum safety at every touchdown!
The shape of the stopper was inspired by the return capsule of the Apollo 11 mission – the spaceflight that first landed humans on the Moon and brought them safely back to Earth. When you touch down after your freefall, your deep dive might feel a bit like a trip to the Moon and back. We hope that this small piece of equipment not only enhances your safety at depth but also reminds you of that great journey and its safe return to the surface.
The stopper is securely fixed to the rope using a set screw. This makes it easy to install and remove if needed. No more knots on the rope! Another advantage is the hydrodynamic design, which creates minimal drag when pulling up the bottom weight or using a counter ballast system. Fits ropes up to a diameter of 13 mm.
