Freediving workshop in the world's deepest thermal pool at 33 degrees Celsius. Individual arrival at Hotel Millepini, Via Catajo, 42 35036 Montegrotto, Italy.

• Arrival can be by car or by flight to Venice Marco Polo (VCE), followed by a rental car drive of about 1 hour to Montegrotto.

Equipment:

The water temperature is 33-34 degrees, and no wetsuit is required. Those who want can wear a thin rash guard (tight-fitting synthetic shirt). A weight belt is not necessary.

• Snorkel
• (optional: FREEQ goggles and nose clip)

• Neoprene socks
• Lanyard
• Dive computer (available at freedive-thurgau.ch or for rent at Y-40)
• Swimwear
• Small lock for locker (shackle diameter 5mm, also available at Y-40)
• Yoga mat

Safety:

1. Wearing a lanyard is mandatory when diving in the 42m shaft area
2. A dive computer is mandatory
3. Diving only in pairs throughout Y-40
4. In case of blackout, medical alert, immediate diving ban, and one-year suspension from Y-40

Requirements:

• PADI Freediver certification (or equivalent certification from another organization).
• PADI Basic Freediver, SSI Pool Freediver (or equivalent Pool Freediver certification) can book the PADI/SSI Freediver upgrade course.

The workshop is designed for freedivers with dive depths between 10 – 25m.

Insurance:

It is the responsibility of the participants.

Registration:

The number of participants is limited to 8. A wellness program is available for non-diving partners.
